Ten industry leaders were formally inducted into the Ben Franklin Honor Society of the Printing Industries of America (PIA) (Pittsburgh, PA) at a black-tie induction and awards ceremony held November 13 in Charleston, SC. The new members:
Jimmy Doar is the retired president of Wentworth Printing.
Gary H. Dolgins is the director of sales and marketing for Blanchard Systems, Inc.
William A. Gindlesperger is founder and chairman of e-LYNXX Corp., and an entrepreneur, inventor, author, and consultant.
Janet Green is the immediate past chairman of the board of PIA.
Elizabeth “Betty” Maul is president of FrontEnd Graphics in Cherry Hill, NJ, and the 2006 Naomi Berber Memorial Award recipient.
Bill McLauchlan retired in March 2009 as senior technical consultant for PIA.
Paul V. Reilly is a partner in New Direction Partners and is the former president, CEO and chairman of the board of Cenveo, Inc.
Karl G. Schnellinger served in the Topographic Map Unit of the United States Army, chaired the Printing Industries of the Carolinas board of directors, and is secretary/treasurer of the PICA Foundation.
Art Stowe retired this year after serving as Printing Industries of Maryland president since 1972 and on the PIA Presidents Conference Advisory Committee for 15 years.
Cal Sutphin Sr. has had a long tenure in the ink industry.
