Adams McClure (Denver), a subsidiary of Ennis Business Forms, Inc., recently installed two Hewlett-Packard (HP) Designjet 5500 series printers and a 62-inch-wide GBC Titan 165 laminator. The HP Designjet 5500 series printers can produce banners and short-run jobs at 100 sq. ft. per hour. Printing is done on specially coated media stock, which comes in rolls up to 300 ft. long and ranges from 36 inches to 60 inches wide. UV pigmented ink helps guard against fading. Applications for the new equipment include external graphics for windows, gas pumps and light boxes.
