Sign Concepts (Springfield, VA) expanded its production floor by 3,000 sq. ft. to accommodate a new PressVu UV grand-format printer from VUTEk (Meredith, NH). The 600-dpi, eight-color unit prints up to six ft. wide. The printer uses UV-curable inks and can print directly onto rigid substrates, eliminating the steps involved in trimming and mounting. It also prints on flexible rolled materials such as vinyl and canvas.
