Three months before the premiere staging of digi:media 2011, a trade fair for commercial publishing & digital printing, organizer Messe Dusseldorf reports the event is on course to host an expected 130 exhibitors plus a program of congresses, seminars, workshops and theme parks.
The show will be held from April 7 - 9, 2011 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany. It is structured in nine segments based on the production chain: content, IT-solutions, workflow, electronic media, consumables/expendable materials, digital printing, further processing, packaging and services.
The show aims to offer a unique spectrum across the publishing and communication sector and thus address the different visitor target groups involved in the workflow – from advertising and design agencies, marketers, printing services providers and production agencies to publishing houses and address marketers.
“Positive feedback from the sector confirms our strategy,” says digi:media project director Manuel Matare. “We have succeeded in motivating the most diverse sector players such as associations, publishing houses and initiatives to pull along with us in the same direction.”
Based on the current level of registrations (mid-January), the exhibitors at digi:media 2011 will include, among others: Hewlett Packard, Hunkeler Deutschland GmbH, Ricoh, Xeikon, Xerox, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, manroland AG, Horizon GmbH, Koerber PaperLink GmbH, Muller-Martini AG, Pitney Bowes Deutschland GmbH, Polar Mohr, CGS Publishing Technologies, Dalim Software AG, Direct Smile GmbH, Esko Graphics, Kinetik GmbH, One Vision Software AG and Xanté Europe.
digi:media is designed as an annual event and in 2012 will be an integral part of the drupa trade fair.
