The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), an independent, nonprofit organization for sustainability certification in the graphic communications industry, today announces that Cincinnati-based Berman Printing is the 29th organization to become an SGP Certified Facility.
To achieve SGP Certification, the company adjusted its processes to reduce emissions, conserve resources, and reuse or recycle materials. SGP Certification comes with regular measurement and review of certified facilities, which puts Berman on a continuous improvement track that will benefit its employees, community, and customers.
Berman Printing is a 120-person enterprise providing full-service sheetfed and dimensional packaging print solutions. Part of the TouchPoint Print Solutions network, the firm plans to use the SGP Certification as a value proposition as its customers place a greater interest in working with a certified supplier.
