Rider Dickerson (Bellwood, IL) and partner Service Communications + Solutions (Chicago) have developed a series of print technology seminars for marketers, with help from CharisseM Design. Business partners Charisse McAloon and Sandy Rabin took a holistic approach to creating a powerful institutional brand for the educational events. “printForum” emerged and was woven into every element of an all encompassing campaign from print to interactive multimedia.
The first event, in the printForum series, “Digital Print Can do That?!” attracted more than 200 attendees — twice the expected turnout. The firm employed a campaign of direct mail, signage and personalized gift boxes containing digitally printed items including a digital substrates swatchbook.
According to Dean Petrulakis, Rider Dickerson’s senior vice president of business development, “CharisseM Design created eyecatching, polished pieces that gave a unique flair to the printForum brand. I’m convinced that their attention to every detail from the printForum brand to the professional look of the seminar materials played a key role in driving up attendance — especially amongst our marketing-conscious clients. It was a huge success.”
