Agfa-Gevaert N.V. (Mortsel, Belgium) has appointed Ludo Verhoeven CEO and president of the Board of Management of the Agfa-Gevaert Group. Verhoeven was previously vice chairman of the board.

Verhoeven joined Agfa-Gevaert N.V. in 1973 and has been a member of the Board of Management since 1997. He is board spokesperson for the Business Groups Graphic Systems and Technical Imaging, the NAFTA region, and for a number of central services, including R&D, manufacturing, corporate venturing and corporate environment.

In other news, Pol Bamelis has been appointed as a new non-executive director on the Board of Directors.
