QuadTech Inc. introduces a new level of support for its systems installed worldwide. "Proactive Care" is a diagnostic service that analyzes every alert, makes an educated diagnosis, alerts the press crew and determines the best solution before press performance is compromised. Unlike most remote diagnostic services, Proactive Care provides around-the-clock health and condition monitoring of QuadTech ICON systems by skilled technicians.
"We're not simply making a connection to your system and diagnosing issues after they happen," said Karl Fritchen, president, QuadTech. "Proactive Care employs technical staff who have a thorough knowledge of QuadTech products. They monitor alert messages sent from your equipment, and connect with your staff, day or night, every day of the year. We can alert you to problems before you’re aware of them, and ultimately keep your presses running."
Proactive Care alerts pressroom staff to a wide variety of issues, to which QuadTech will offer solutions. Issues include battery life, hard disk life expectancy, press communication errors, cabinet temperature, and PC restarts. Rapid, accurate reaction times reduce equipment malfunctions, which can preempt expensive downtime.
