Montreal-based Ultimate Technographics Inc. (www.imposition.com) announced the release of its 64-bit version of Impostrip OnDemand Scalable Server Edition, designed to bring more speed and efficiency to high volume printing. Its prototype earned “Worth a Look” honors at Print 09 after being presented in HP's booth among the partner solutions adapted for the HP Inkjet T300 press. Since, Ultimate made successful installations in two areas, high volume/short run of books and very high volume transpromotional printing.
“The Scalable Imposition Server Edition of Impostrip OnDemand leverages the power of today's multiple-core computers now including the 64-bit platform,” says Joanne David, president and CEO of Ultimate. “This exclusive solution is designed to integrate most PDF workflows in a very simple fashion; in addition, the Scalable Server Edition offers more automation regarding job variables for digital web printing, for book manufacturing and finishing, permitting the same workflow to process various job configurations on the fly.”
The new 64-bit version is available to customers on the Titanium service plan as a free upgrade.
