LithoTechnics has released version 2011.0 of its Metrix automated job planning and imposition system.
“Metrix 2011.0 has some great new features that will put even more planning and imposition tasks into the ‘no brainer’ category, eliminate chances for error and enhance ease of use,” says Rohan Holt, president, LithoTechnics.
Beta user Leah Graham, workflow supervisor for McCallum Print Group, says, “The automatic collation marks will save significant time during the imposition of book work and improve accuracy in our final layouts. All of the keyboard command updates will make Metrix more user-friendly and make our operators more efficient. This new release will provide overall improvements in our imposition workflow and turnaround times.”
Brett Donlan, pre-media manager for Suttle-Straus is another Metrix 2011.0 beta tester. He says, “I have found LithoTechnics to be extremely open to customer feedback as they actively seek out new feature requests. In our switch to Metrix we have made huge strides in improving accuracy and production time.”
